Each day is a new beginning God has blessed you with!

Love not the world, neither the things of the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

What a coencidence!

Well last week, a group from MS State went to Indianapolis, Indiana to the National FFA Convention. We were on our way back Friday night about 8:30 headed south on I 65. Everything was going fine and I happened to look over and there was my girlfriend's dad's truck we were passing. I couldn't believe it so I called him and he said he had been east of Louisville to buy a seed drill and was on the way back. So then her mom got on the phone and said I could just ride the rest of the way back with them and I wouldn't have to go back to Starkville. After we had gotten into Nashville, we pulled off and I got out of the van and into their truck. I didn't tell Emily I was coming, so lets just say that me coming was a big surprise for her. I guess you never know who you will see on the road. Emily always says that I notice poeple's trucks.

The importance of Faith

This past Friday, my girlfriend's grandpa past away and it really got us to thinking. She and I both are Christians, but we know reality is that everyone is not. I believe that a personal relationship with Christ is the only way to receive eternal life in Heaven with our Lord and Savior. As we talked about the situation this weekened, we knew that God will take us whenever He desires and we will never know when. The only thing to know is to be ready. We are never promised tomorrow. Are you ready?

Exciting Weekend

With school going on, I don't get to rope much just because I'm so busy. Friday night we roped and really had a good time. My horses worked well and I hope to get go to some ropings soon. I have also been really busy trying to get all my rye grass seed put out and get my bushoging done. Then the tractor started leaking fuel and I had to carry it to the shop. Finally, as I was winding down the day yesterday, Jody called and said that he had a cow that he couldn't get up and that we needed to rope it. She was in the woulds so thick that we could barely get her out. When we finally roped her, he missed his dally and we took off after her in the woods. We had to snake her out from tree to tree to keep her from hurting us because she was really mean. We finally got her on the trailer and then they were going to carry her to the packing house and we will soon be able to eat her.
